Cyber Ambush is a tabletop exercise (TTX) platform. It provides a live, cloud-based platform for running cyber tabletop exercises for public and private organizations. Instead of a slide deck and a printed scenario, exercises run on a real-time clock. Time-phased injects unfold as the situation develops.

Every exercise runs on three roles: an Executive Sponsor who sets objectives and scope, an Operator who facilitates the live session, and Participants who respond to the scenario using their own judgment. Artificial intelligence (AI) supports the Executive Sponsor and Operator during planning and evaluation (never the Participants) so the record of the exercise reflects how the team would really perform.

After ENDEX (end of exercise), the platform delivers an after-action review (AAR) and improvement plan aligned to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework and the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), in minutes rather than weeks, because decisions and timestamps were captured as the exercise ran instead of reconstructed afterward.
